If I was a inspection station, I would only inspect a bobber as a NEW build, because it is no longer a 3 axle truck, and as it is a NEW build there would be NO grandfathing, to inspect as anything else would be fraud and not worth loosing my ispection license over. The only way around a NEW...
I believe you could plumb into the air pack and then a one way valve then a air line to the front with a glad hand on the end, this way only ONE set of tow hoses need to be carried that will work on both a 5t and a deuce.
A lot more then "Just with higher sides, and no tailgate?"
These beds ARE Extreme HEAVY DUTY beds with a replaceable lined floor, rounded side to floor corners to keep rock, broke concrete, ect. from bridging and hanging up, heavily reinforced sides to keep them from blowing out when BIG rock...
coolent heater is what the canister is, who brought the truck to you, overheating like that calls for a shut down, NOT keep on going, doee/did the temp. gauge work.

In the second pic, that hole is just there, no pin goes there, would not hurt to put some thick grease in the grove, would...
From the way this sounds, I may need to drag the 101 BACK to my AO to bring all my new to me stuff that I or Dave think that I can not live without, I just cleaned out the shop/garage/storage, so there will BE room that needs to be filled (CAN NOT HAVE EMPTY SPACE GO TO WASTE)
Some interesting data
Take a look at the cable load charts below, the 5-1 ratio is for over head use, the 3 1/5-1 ratio is for winch work, this chart is for NEW wire rope with a WIRE core, a fiber core (which our front winches have) cable has less SWL loading then shown, so just because someone...
How much are you trying to pull, the 45,000 lb 936 rear winch was down rated to 1/2 of the 45,000 lb original rating because the hyds.will not meet the demand, it seems that engineers/designers did not talk to each other about the winch hyd. demands.
