I was thinking I was going to install a coolant filter on my M936. But I was looking at the post above and one post says the coolant flows one way and the other post says it flows the other way.
Anyone have any more info. on have the coolant flow is on the NHC250 or the heater flow on the M939...
I had a problem with one of my trucks and it turned out to be the turn signal switch housing. I took it apart and cleaned the housing and contacts and that fixed the problem.
I just did the diode jumper from wire 491 to 16 and it worked great.
I Y'ed off wire #16 at the dimmer switch then ran it up and over to the lift light signal light.
Made a jumper Y setup with the diode housing.
Tested with all the lights and it work fine.
I am working on a M35A2 and I am using a epoxy primer(PPG omni). The problem you may have is it needs to be top coated with in 48hrs or you have to sand it.
Also I am using the Rapco Paint for the top coat. http://www.rapcoparts.com/manuals.html
The semi gloss OD is #24087.
Good luck with...
I checked this morning and my lights are 11' to the top of the lights. But I lowered the mounts 4".
See my pics of the mounts.
I just tied into the power that was already run for the wrecker warning lights.
I just put a set of convoy lights on my M936 and it was not to bad of a install. But the two nuts for the u-bolt on the lower right side are a B((*&^^.
The battery box is in the way and the foam does not help.
You did jump into the deep end!!
But it is all fun if you plan your pickup and just think about safety.
I did about the same think you did when I got my first MV.
Have a safe and fun recovery!!!!
The deuce I am redoing does not have a start relay on it. The new harness I got is for it will need a relay also.
I have not gotten to the point to try starting it, still just a painted frame.
Let us know how it goes.
I looked at the schematic and it looks like you need to add a #4 size wire...
