10.5 on a stock rim seem awful wide for a stock rim, What you describe sure sounds like to much air OR to small a rim, I have run into this with rear tires on pickups, If dropping the air didn't help, a wider rim fixed the problem.

Before you prune, think like the trucks crew, what would they "collect" for the truck, things to make life eaiser, a bit better crew potection, things to barter with to get goodies they need/want, extra chains/binders, ect., every truck has a different collection, most truck crews have a problem...

There is a load on the drum clutch, move the winch drive back and forth to remove the load, check and make sure the drum lock is not engaged with the drum clutch engaged, this also will bind things up when turning by hand and break things when turned with power.

WHY did you need BRAKE FLUID, it HAD to go somewhere, brake fluid DOES NOT evaporate. I would ANSWER this question BEFORE you put the truck ON THE ROAD again.
