Just a little word about tires.
We pickup my M931A1 Nellis ATB, NV about three weeks ago. When we got to the truck it had a right front flat tire. We aired it up and it looked fine and had not been driven on flat. It was a new looking Michelin. So we headed for home, made it home ok!!

Not to big of a job to pull the left finder. I just did the left and right side on the truck I am redoing. The truck had a heater, but when I put the truck back together the heater is not going in. Not much need for it here in AZ.
Just keep track of all your bolts and were they go. Also...
I am not sure what you are asking so I just added some pic for you.
They are of my M931A1 and one on my M923A1. Can not see much of the rack on the M923A1 with the bed and troop seats in the way.
Hope the pics help.
Well I got her done!! I put the wheel on a 5 gal. bucket and lowered the tire with my tractor, put o-ring on wheel, put the 2nd half of ring on very carefully and did the bolts up slowly.

I talked to a...
I did a test fit with out the tire and the o-ring just does not fit that good with the 2nd half of the wheel. It wants to side down to far and with the tire in place you are not going to be able to keep it in place.
Going to work on it today, will let you know how it goes.
I maybe looking for...
I am trying to change a tire on my M931A1 and I have not seen this type of wheel before. On other 5 tons wheels I have worked on there is a grove that the o-ring goes into and then the 2nd half of the wheel pushes on the o-ring.
My question is how do you keep the o-ring in place when you put...
Sounds like an air link and/or Prime problem.
Good luck with it. I feel your pain. My M923A1 had a fuel problem and it turned out to be the pickup tube in the fuel tank.

I used the vent line to help me trouble shoot a primming problem with my M923A1. You can put 3-4psi air in at the vent and pressurize the tank and look for leaks in the fuel system. Also helps to prime the system after a fuel fitter change.
