i can't believe it won't come down in the power down position? i've been told that they designed it that way to pull stumps out of the ground.it should come down or break something. :driver:
if you're gonna keep doing that i'd say 70lds.all around. i'd also recomend getting comm. tires if you want them to last a while. the road and weight will just chew up those non directionals.

1/2" ratchet is way to much leverage.use a short 5/8 wrench,snug em ,if it leaks, loosen them and turn the cover, and snug em down again. it works for me :driver:

there wasn't something right there.the left rear tire was caked with mud, but the right rear tire wasn't.don't even look like it was spinning at all.maybe he didn't have the differential lock engaged.but gave you a good feeling didn't it ...

the thing is if you get buried bad and someone pulls on that piece of chain real hard you could pull you're frame horns in towards the center,and that would not be good.
you want the winch uncovered while you're driving so the wind will blow thru the cable .i put an old washtub under mine and pure my old motor oil over it,at least twice a year.the cables been on there for 3 years and looks brand new.and it was used when i put it on.just make sure you always park...
