if you're gonna keep doing that i'd say 70lds.all around. i'd also recomend getting comm. tires if you want them to last a while. the road and weight will just chew up those non directionals.

if you were'nt clear cross country i'd buy em from you in a heartbeat.

1/2" ratchet is way to much leverage.use a short 5/8 wrench,snug em ,if it leaks, loosen them and turn the cover, and snug em down again. it works for me :driver:

the thing is if you get buried bad and someone pulls on that piece of chain real hard you could pull you're frame horns in towards the center,and that would not be good.

don't forget about the bleeders on the air pack.

i think you need some BIGGER shackles for the front bumper for sure.

tell you what is real, real close, is a tow shackle of a 1997 and probably others mack trucks.paint them od and you can't tell the difference.

you want the winch uncovered while you're driving so the wind will blow thru the cable .i put an old washtub under mine and pure my old motor oil over it,at least twice a year.the cables been on there for 3 years and looks brand new.and it was used when i put it on.just make sure you always park...

if it's going to scrap it's$ 200 a ton up here. 12,000 lds. and it's worth $1200. thats a bargain if it's fixable.
