if it's an original unit ,it probably has a 20,000 ld winch on the front, not a 20 ton, but with a snatch block you will double the pulling power. [thumbzup]
the folding step was designed to fold under if should try to climb a steep bank and the bumper hits the bank. the step just folds under without destroying it.you just pull it down when needed.
my 5 tons been like that since i got it. gave up trying to figure it out. just adjusted the high beams so they hit the road like the low beams. never use high beams anyway. as long as i can get an insp. sticker, i don't worry about it.

yeh i got a box of them 1662's made in china and the filaments are backwards. had to cut off one of the studs and put the bulb in backwards . but it works.

most big diesels will get 300,000 miles no problem. the most important thing you can do is not lug the engine. especially, a cummins, they wil come apart. hence the nickname ( cumapart). if you change the oil and filters religously, that motor will be running fine if...
on the gov. turn the big nut all the way in,then turn the 13/16 one in about 5 or 6 turns. that should put you're pressure about 120 lds.in to increase out to decrease .then tighen lock nut. :driver:
any of you guys running veg oil and how do you blend it ? my bud has a multifuel and would like to cut down the price of diesel. how much gas would you put in with the diesel?20% 10%
hey charles nice to have you on site. last time i was at the foot he had a 105 trl. i believe. it was in good shape and he was lookin for $6oo i think . he had a 5 ton coming in too. just a cab and chasie but it had the mack motor in it. there's a guy in plympton, ma .that might have some parts...
