the folding step was designed to fold under if should try to climb a steep bank and the bumper hits the bank. the step just folds under without destroying it.you just pull it down when needed.

my 5 tons been like that since i got it. gave up trying to figure it out. just adjusted the high beams so they hit the road like the low beams. never use high beams anyway. as long as i can get an insp. sticker, i don't worry about it.

it really would have been out of the way if it was attached to the headboard.

did you try tapping the starter while someone is trying to crank it over??pull start it would my choice.

i think the guys an idiot, don't do it, it's against the law to repair a sidewall on any commercial truck tire. the tire is junk!!!!

yeh i got a box of them 1662's made in china and the filaments are backwards. had to cut off one of the studs and put the bulb in backwards . but it works.

i put a set of strobes on my 5 ton, less moving parts and don't shake apart. the strobes use a hell of a lot less juice too. :driver:

i heard that in conn. it's illegal to run nondirections unless you snipe them. course thats a commy state anyway :driver:

on the gov. turn the big nut all the way in,then turn the 13/16 one in about 5 or 6 turns. that should put you're pressure about 120 lds.in to increase out to decrease .then tighen lock nut. :driver:

any of you guys running veg oil and how do you blend it ? my bud has a multifuel and would like to cut down the price of diesel. how much gas would you put in with the diesel?20% 10%

hey charles nice to have you on site. last time i was at the foot he had a 105 trl. i believe. it was in good shape and he was lookin for $6oo i think . he had a 5 ton coming in too. just a cab and chasie but it had the mack motor in it. there's a guy in plympton, ma .that might have some parts...
