i tow my f-250 all around. hooks up to my plowframe ears . put transfercase in neutral and trany in park don't want the tranny spinning because the front pump does'nt work without the motor running. :driver:

if you get desperate .i used a wrench my buddie had for ,are you ready? taking off ford fan clutches.yep ford has a three wrench kit for removing fan clutches and the biggest one fits the front comp. pulley perfect.just loosen you're two lock bolts,and hold the back one with a big adj. and turn...
those horns have a set screw on the back that you can adjust the tone.stuff one with a rag while you tune the other one.turn the asetscrew a little at a time and blow the horn. it helps to have someone at the wheel and just yell try it.it'll take a good 15 min. to get the loudest blast...
you must have a problem cause when i plow i start in second and go up into 3rd and sometimes 4th and if the rears spin a little bit i can feel the front axel kick in and start pulling. you can go from second to reverse and vice-versa with no problem ,as long as you listen for the sneeze . been...

nice job but it's a no no to weld anything to the frame rails. in due time you will get cracks at the weld :driver:

man you guys are lucky . i don't know of any place out here that you can off road. i can run around the gravel pit at work, but you can't really put the buggie through it's paces.u know what i mean. :driver:

in my 5 ton you can't get to second from first without the truck coming to a stop.with a load on i start in second low and go to second high, then upshift normally.i've been driving rigs over 40 years and have never had to replace a clutch. it's all in the driver. A MAN HAS GOT TO KNOW HIS...
