usmctopgun, Good idea!!! Always good to have a 2nd set of eyes. Thanks!!!
This is what I made for the group 27's I just installed. Will try the 31's next go around. Batteries here in AZ just do not last very long: 2-3 years at best.
BruceB, I think I would have my wife or someone come with me in a 2nd car.
A $1000 to northern NV would be a good price.
But you are right about breakdown worries.
Let me know what you can work out, I would be happy to help out.
I just got some group 27 from Walmart for my A3. The group 31 would not fit in the plastic battery box, To long. The group 31's will fit in the metal battery box.
Get as many CCA as you can find.
I used wix filters.
Oil 51133 x2ea (wix gold)
Fuel 1st # 33511 (wix)
Fuel 2ed x2 #33512 (wix)
For napa # just take off the 1st number.
But the oil filters did not come with the right gasket, so you have the get a gasket #15070 x 2ea
The search on SS is a plan but it does work if you...
glcaines & cranetruck, Thanks for the info. I will try to find some beryllium-copper alloy or my just resurface the old one for now.
Capt.Marion, It is the starter solenoid.
Thanks again!!
