The M10xx series are steel sheet metal
The M1114 are thick steel [ roof ] with different turret and support, same older sponsons will work from M10XX series.
M1151, 1165.... uses an aluminum roof, sponsons, hatch , and turret.
I have turrets for all these.
If the factory system is up to spec,.... system works fine cold or hot.
There is only one factory temp switch.
Scoops will help if your moving up to speed, but not needed.
Out here in the desert 110 F...my old 6.2 fan hardly comes on unless I'm going faster than 55 which gets the temps up.
Tab comes out by pulling it....if its broke now, it was not when sent.
Also there are 3 different gears for inside : 35 teeth for 2.56 gears, 36 teeth for 2.73 gears, and 41 teeth for 3.08 gears in Diff.
The gear/sender housing must be adjusted to proper numbers per teeth.

The switches are prone to ESD damage [ electrostatic discharge ].
That switch is that one pulled from inventory...and new ones got surplused, used got scraped.
They come new with an ESD cap to protect its internal circuits.
ESD is a big time concern on aircraft.
If part has no cap,...it gets...
Make sure eng. is running before you unplug connector...doing so without truck running wont do anything.
With eng. off fan is engaged, so it wont move.
Hydralic pressure disengages fan when cold if working properly.
When eng. is hot and system working properly....cadillac valve cuts hyd...
I also just talked to an engineer at CE Niehoff.....
When using an alt. with a N3135 dual volt regulator on a single volt system [ 28vdc ]....you ground the 14 volt tap on
regulators dated before 2012, and leave 14 volt tap open on N3135 regulators dated 2012, and after.
I made some in the past to mostly match the factory rears.
There's thick shims, inside X door handles, arm rests, paddle handles and rods, and door latches....all X door parts,
except thick shims which are same as rear 1/2 doors use.
Arm rest is similar as rear 1/2 doors.

Did a test today :
2ea. rt-1523's......one with ext. speaker, other with Racal hooked up direct with bailout cord.
When headset momentary switch pushed, a click tone is herd on the other radio's ext speaker, but no voice.
Tried this with 3 different Racals, and 4 different bailout cords....all...
