The cork goes under the bearing and behind the seal. It gets compressed when the spindle nuts are tightened. The TM calls for it to be there, but there are 'mechanics' that insist they have never used any (and that is why there are grease balls and worn out bearings in deuce axles.

Those are used quite a bit in Europe, not so much in the USA.

Pyro before turbo should not go over 1200 degrees. It's actually hotter in the cylinder and the pistons are made of aluminum - they start to melt when the pyro gets to 1200. Does terrible things to compression and the engine in general.

Use "goof-Off' which is a glue remover. Sold in better hardware stores.

I've got one with the little red light. I need to be in a dark room with it in order to see the light. Outside in ambient light it is very difficult to see, even when it's in shadows. Easier just to check with the VOM set on A/C in the 25-100 volt range. If you are getting over 45 volts...

Scott, The PU 794 shows as an MEP-004A generator so you need to look for the TM for that unit. Also check with the 'print on demand' sites to see what they charge to get you a hard copy. Might be cheaper than you think!

The way I understand your first post you have a hot neutral and a hot ground, so the first thing is to increase your liability insurance to at least 10 million dollars. In a power outage, if a lineman gets hurt or killed working on a hot neutral from your generator, you will wish you had never...
