The "property plate" should be on the frame, forward of the fender, on the curb side. As per the diagram in the -14

Humvee tires & wheels on an M101

As I understand it all the A3's have wider axles so the track is the same width as the HMMWV

    Snow in Austin

The only heat I use in my M1009 is the defroster, warm windshields are a wonderful thing:) Snow is not so tough to drive in, ICE however is not possible without special equipment, and chains or spiked tires are not so common in Central Texas... BTW: I'm pretty sure groundhog is all dark meat...

    Snow in Austin

The Yankees driving like the roads are dry are the main problem, in my opinion. Just because having only 1" of snow on the ground means it's springtime in New York, does not mean you can drive 60 in a wet 40 zone, and expect not to stuff it into a Texan driving 30 because the snow/ice scares...

    Snow in Austin

I sort of have cab heat, I believe the thermostat is stuck open so the motor never really gets above 180, so there isn't much heat generated in the cab. The truck doesn't even get over 180 in the summer, so I am not complaining too much (we have a LOT more summer than winter) I drove Volkswagen...

    Snow in Austin

I know it's no big deal to 80% of the US, but here in Central Texas we just don't see much of the flaky white stuff, I had to take some photos...

    Deuce tires on the CUCV???

I think a better question than "why" is HOW? It would take a lot of lift to fit those under a CUCV...

    What Would Motor Pool Do?

I WOULD like to see that, Reloader64 built me a CUCV to 4 pin civvie adapter, but I would like to have a connector to adapt a mil trailer to civvie vehicles. I just bought a used set of TruckLite omnivolt LED tail lights to convert the trailer back to MILSPEC config, all I need now to complete...

    What Would Motor Pool Do?

I was trying to "modernize" the trailer and still keep it military, but I have discovered that radials can not be mounted on the stock M416/M151 wheels so I will just get a new set of NDCCs and tubes.

    What Would Motor Pool Do?

Thanks for those links, I found a very useful bit of information from the classified ad, the M101CDN bolt circle is 5x112mm and according to the -14 the M416 is 5.5x140mm so the wheels will NOT interchange. Also thanks for the heads up on the age of those tires, I wondered about that, now I...

I already love the little one, I now know why M416 trailers are so sought after. Got any photos of the Iraqi??
