    starter solenoid?

    Make sure you have a GOOD ground first, then go from there. Had similar issue................was a loose battery cable. Later on in the life of the truck, the actual starter switch failed, similar noise or NO noise at all, R and Replaced...............Good to Go. Hope that helps a smidge.

    What are you using for "radio", tunes, news? Earbuds? smart phone? I know the first time I drove a bike 1,500 miles, I did a LOT of mental "singing" cause they didn't have helmet radios back then! LOL Flinstones, meet the Flinstones.................ARGH!!

    Congrats on the BBQ and the spares!!! Favors among friends are like grains of salt, sometimes small, sometimes large, always in good taste!! One of the reasons I like this site....some great level headed, like minded troops!! Stay safe and rubber side down!!

    Yes, INDEED! It is truly amazing how the people on this site help each other out!! Like Rustystud, I've been around a "run away" diesel engine.........................I dived behind a connex and waited for the climatic conclusion. Always better to error on the side of caution, I believe...
