Sound like you have an air suction problem. The drain hose should not leak fuel unless it is loose or damaged, you can change your water separator filter with a Baldwin BF1222. It is a single piece without the drain assy.
You might be able to just pull back your PDP and stick a mirror down to see if the linkage is damaged. Have you checked your wiper arm? The arm sits on a tapered shaft that has friction groves that hold it in place. If the nut holding the arm is loose it will just slip. Mine was damaged that is...
I replaced my wiper linkage and had to remove my entire dash, pdp and heater box… when rigging I disconnected the linkage. I ran the motor and then shut off to there the self park should be set. I then moved the wipers to the position of where I “think” they should be then snug down all the...
check pin 4 on the ECU black connector to CB79 with a ohm meter. You should have continuity.
if you don’t check with connector for pushed pins and check your fuse as well.
I sourced my filter kit from Allison dealer, it ran about $70. once they have your transmission SN they can lookup your kit number.
my filter kit number was

Do you know if it is Wtec 2 or 3. Wtec 2 has the ecm in they keypad, Wtec 3 has ecm seperate from they keypad.
it will not be possible in a practical sense, to get it in gear without an ECM or keypad.
there are vendors here that can help you find parts.
good luck
remarks
1. The output speed sensor is an tonal type that counts the rotations. If the sensor resistance is out of range it will generate a fault during the ECU BITE on startup.
2. The ECU under voltage and constant power ups and power downs can cause corruption of data, intermittent unrelated...
It could be your TC lock up is not disengaging causing a stall. I think the lock up is at 3rd gear.
you could check the transmission fluid to make sure it is not disappearing or contaminated. Replace the fluid, pull and inspect filters for contamination. Lastly you can take to shop to check the...
Take out your keypad/ecu then ring the runs for the turbine and output speed sensors for the correct range. If not in the range it should just be a sensor/wiring repair. For parts I suggest going to an Allison dealer, it may be the same price or a little more expensive but they should have the...
I would suggest checking the ohms of your speed sensors. Your codes 55 56 and 25 give an indication of a speed sensor issue. The tranmission controller knows the correct ratios of the speed of the input vs output. If the input and output ratio is out of range or non existent it may give a...
Thanks for sharing that info, sounds like you figured it out. What did the Allison tech think of using a TID3 transmission with a Wtec 2 controller? The TSM gives some warnings about the controller calibration/ shift adaption for different clutch material.
My truck shift pretty hard as well I...
The TMs have a chart regarding the compatibility of harness for WTec III and Wtec II harness. The Wtec 2 manual should also have the same as well. Can you post some pics of the harness pin out, I built a harness for my truck using the Wtec 3 tsm and the electrical manual posted on this site. The...
Sometimes a battery with good voltage may not perform under load causing the bendix to not/slightly engage. Mine does it when the batteries and slightly low causing a grinding noise from the starter trying to engage.
Hello all,
Do any of the transmission experts know a good way to ID what style clutches are installed for the MD3070 WTEC 3. The two options I see are Dynax and Raybestos for the TID2. Each one requires a different ECU calibration. Chart attached for more info.
Thanks
