    Deuce as daily driver?

So basically just keep up on the maintenance and I should be fine? (18y/o Deuce "newbie" considering one as their first vehicle and daily driver).

    Just a reminder for Newbe's

This makes me wonder something: (total Deuce newbie with limited experience). Trying to roll-start/push-start/bump-start (whatever you call it) one of these, is there high potential for engine "runaway" even if the injection pump hasn't been messed with? I've read some somewhat terrifying Deuce...

    75 mph in a Deuce

I'll PM you with contact info. Bummer about the engine...so was it engine-less or did it have a NHC250 or something?

    is this the fuel line?

Fun stuff, sounds like something I'd do once I get myself a Deuce. Sounds like a good way to relieve stress! Plus, there's always the firewood after that! How big of a place is this, anyway? Multiple acres?

    Hello from Alaska

JSC, I'm currently located in roadless, MV-less Port Alexander (Sitka area) but moving to Fairbanks this fall. We should keep in touch though in case I'm ever in Anchorage and have some downtime, or if you're in Fairbanks. Would be neat to try to get together! Friends laugh when I tell them...

My first ever fuel run in my new to me deuce and a half went well...at first. Ideas?

On a similar note, One that makes me laugh is the "Compact Car Parking Only" signs. So if I pull in in a pickup I can get a fine or something? How about a Deuce?

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

I've also thought once I get a Deuce/5 ton I'd love to take people driving around, just for the experience. Particularly running friends around on errands, picking friends up at the airport, etc.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

I laughed out loud at that comment! No, other neighbors, etc. also told me. Plus why would an off-grid house need a 20Kw generator?!

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

...And it means no druggies will ever move in next to you again! One of the houses I spent parts of my childhood living in later became a meth lab, no joke! It's since been demolished and something else built in its place. Drove back up there a few years ago and our old neighbors told us...
