I think it means 4000 pounds, but I looked at all the SC titles I have and they all list the exact weight. If it's an old title, it may very well be a code for a weight class. Just use the empty weight when you fill out the paperwork.

Haven't had that problem yet. But do make sure all electrical contacts are good (take apart, clean off, put back together). I have not seen a -24 or -35 manual for them, but maybe they are built to be sent back to the manufacturer, or sent to DRMO (flip a coin) when they break. I have spares...

Westy, What do you consider a large order? I've got eight engines that I would tear into and replace the bolts, just for peace of mind. 8 x 12 = 96 bolts, and that's just me. (Yes, I'd have to swear off GL for six months or a little more, but it should be a one shot deal!)

If you read the directions (as it was pointed out to me), the Rustoleum Rusty Metal Primer needs at least 72 hours to cure before getting the overcoat - longer if you spray it on thick. It's probably true of most of the oil based primers. Proper preparation means less re-work.

the 6500 BTU/h unit I have in the M109 box works well (cools it down in 90 degree + weather). If your insulation is better than the fiberglass the military used, you should be fine.
