These trucks were ALL built by COMMITIES, but NO one talked to each other, all ASSUMED that all the others KNEW what the OTHERS were doing.
This is why the 936 rear winch was DE rated from 45000 to 25000 lbs, because the hyds will only pull 25000 , eather the pump or the motor is to small...
The power take off thingy your talking about is the rear drive flange off the back side of the rear axle, the RBU has totally different gearing then the deuce, so a direct hookup would not work, this is why Petes build did not have front wheel drive. a hyd. drive with slip built in might work.
I WOULD HAVE OWNED it last night, NO MATTER the cost if I had the money, because I would ALREADY have TWO FBUs WAITING , one for the 5th wheel RBU (16), the other WAITING for the WRECKER RBU. Who cares about the cargo, you see one cargo truck you have seen a 1000
AS faw as a deuce DRIVER goes, MDMORGANWIFE can and will out drive 75% of men drivers including her husband, she can not weigh much more then 100 pounds, think the steering is stock on HER truck.
ALL the front wenches CAN hold the same amount of cable, with or without the tensioner and level wind, it is only the WRECKERS that CARRY the 280', all the rest carry 200'
