Truck died on the road today for real.
Fuel problem not pushing enough, filter not bleeding, poor return out of ip.
Ended up putting the ip fuel line into a bottle of motor oil and driving home.
Time for a electric LP, and replace any rubber i havent yet, also have to figure out a air leak on...
One of mine fell off one day. I am confident that is what happened because the pin was missing on the other side and it was almost falling off.
Now i make sure to bend the cotter pins at the end of the pin.
Did he clean the threads and then use sealer on the studs? That was my biggest fear when doing hg.
And i spent hours cleaning my heads, so just scraping sounds iffy to me
I wouldnt feel good with diesel on the gasket either, but that might be personal preference, i have no real experience...
Truck almost died today!

We shall see what happens in this round:drool:

Good luck, i hope some are auctioned near me one day

Thanks for the stats though, good to know i can compare if i ever sample mine.
Had a slow drip of oil that escalated the other day. Turns out it is Diesel. Look under the intake and the valley was wet wet.
Didnt want to, but i pulled the intake to get a better look, found that i could easily snug the top lines, so i removed them and tightened the bottom lines, the...
My advice was different, yet backed by other people, but its bad? People can have different opinions you know
and the op asked for recommendations, so i shared. Thats the point of forums, people sharing vehicle info and data right
We all like :driver: , we just dont all do it the same
