Ok guys - I think I have properly replied to all the PM's. If you sent me one, and you expected a reply that didnt come, please let me know.
I have set up 2 task-forces so far, the TM and Classifieds. They are the most important to me at the moment.
Thanks for the input!!
One thing to keep in mind, is alot of the plow mounts wont fit with the CUCV tow hooks on . I modified the fisher minute mount plates to keep my tow hooks. Basically the tow hook mounts are bolted on with a bolt thats commonly used for plow brackets too.
Since I am selling my 1009, I have...
Sorry guys - we had to take down the old site tonight. It is down until further notice. It seems it was hijacked and was sending out LARGE amounts of spam.
This forces me to work feverishly on a new method for storing TM's, PS mag articles, etc.
I have some great ideas for everything, but...
Both ideas are great - and will be implemented when I design the new classified section, as well as a bunch of other new features ;-)
They will NOT be a forum section.... for previously stated reasons, as well as new ones (related to the new features that will be available...)
where did you get your thermostat? How much $$ was it? Most autoparts stores sell the WRONG one for the 6.2..... The proper one is in the $20+ range...
Is this in a 1008 or 1009? I think i still have the wooden overhead I had made for my civvy truck... I would have to look, but it wont fit a 1009, as the ceiling contour was different.
My temperatures may be off, but the directions from the visor are something like this:
Above 32* F hold throttle halfway down, and crank when wait light goes out
Below 32* F hold throttle all the way down and crank when wait light goes out
I cant remember without looking if there was a stage...
These are the only direct replacement plugs available. (others you have to change the ends on all the wires). I have had 'ok' luck with them in my M1009.
If I was going to replace them with a more 'civilian' glow plug, I would use the Bosch Duraterm. I just put a set of them in my wifes...
I would think that would be a yes. Not really sure how to 'categorize' it yet... If tags are used, it might not be a big deal... tents would be under a tents tag...
