I pulled mine about a mile this past winter with the wifes Suburban... top speed about 30 - turn out of one driveway, and pulled off the side of the road a the other end. of course, I have also towed a suburban with a golf cart - so maybe I am not a good example??

    700r4 swap

    test running a 6.2

you can plug the fittings too. I have seen some of the 6.2's without coolers in civvy applications. For the short time you will be running it, it wont matter at all.

    Responses to Classified Ad Disappeared.

I actually disabled the comment system in the classifieds. It was never meant to be a form of communication, and I finally figured out thats where all these 'unsolicited' PM's I have been getting were from. Please use PM's to communicate about items wanted or for sale... In reference to your...

    High idle solenoid

I think there is 3 temperature switches. One, activates the idiot light, one glow plugs, and one the cold advance - high idle. Check the TM to confirm, but I believe the drivers front side of the engine (on the head) is the idiot light, drivers back of the head on top - glow plug. I dont...

    alternator woes

You will certainly let the smoke out of something (most likely the stereo) if you hook it up to the rear battery.

    Where did SS go?

Actually, we had a hard drive failure. Sadly when things like this happen, we are at the mercy of how fast Graham can drive over to the data center and work on it. Looks like we need to replace a hard drive or 2....
