I have had my 1009 start at 5* without any issues (not plugged in) Granted, I do prefer to plug in at any temp below about 20* just to be nicer to the engine....

I used the tubing in the manner that I did, so I could hang the shackles from the front still :-) The Fisher Minute Mount for these trucks are VERY solidly built. I could take some pics for anyone interested in how they look.
