    child carseats in M1009

Congrats on the Triplets... we just had twins in Sept! (one is in my lap as I type ) I think you are going to have a hard time getting 3 car seats SAFELY in the back seat of a 1009. I have had 2 in the back of mine, and there is not much room left in between. Also, the outer 2 are VERY...

    Anybody have spare Wellman 070

CARNAC... for the record, the 050 are the ones used by the '12v' guys. You could put them in, and move the wire up to the 12v junction block to get you through in a pinch.

    Wellman 050 glow plug experience...

For a complete 12v converted truck the 050 would be the plug of choice (its the same one used in all the civvy 6.5 engines)

    What's 24v and what's 12v

The voltage that actually goes to the glow plugs, is variable. The voltage is dropped down by the resistors. I would NOT suggest using the 60g's in it. They will not last as well as the wellman 070. As to the starter, unless someone hacked your wiring, it should be 24v still.

    What's 24v and what's 12v

The physical glow plugs themselves are indeed 12v, but the 'system' is 24v.

    What's 24v and what's 12v

Actually no, they are 12v. The only thing that is 24v is the starter, glow plugs and charging system.

    hard rattle on acceleration

If you lay under the truck, while its running, there is a good chance you will be able to tell its the flex plate. Especially if someone can rev it a couple times for you while you are under there.

    hard rattle on acceleration

I would check your flexplate. A heavy rattle on acceleration is commonly a flexplate issue.

Does anybody even have a land line anymore?

I have not had an issue either, and I have used my cell on every purchase dating back to 2003. Something I would suggest... is include a utility bill that has your address on it. Like your electric bill. Something that ties you to your house. I actually use a printout of my property taxes...

    Why FreightTrain was banned...

I think that parts refers to any information that is in a 'Members Only' area. This would include all pictures posted, and anything at all in the conversations forum or chat.
