what about mounting the "box" backwards so the axles are closer to the cab, crane in front box in rear???? having a usable turn radius is pretty nice...
the five ton wheels are only rated for around 9000 lbs(maybe 9500) and lower pressure(90 or 95 psi) in case you ever really load your truck heavy like I do... I use a cut off saw to cut the large end off of the thimble nut and then thread it on, put the hemtt wheel on that and then tighten down...
There is no need to grind the drums to make the valve stem fit...Just grind the back down on the valve stem where it would contact the drum. I did this on my m919 and just did it for my 920 and have hauled many thousands of bushels of grain with no problems. I just ground on it and then put it...
my 2000 4x4 suburban manual said it can be towed with the trans in park and tranfercase in neutral. I towed it from ND to NE with no problems. I just assumed the same would work on my 1009 and towed it home with my m915a1....the transfercase is now stuck in low 4x4 and when I put it in park it...
i was hauling beans to adm during harvest. about 120 miles round trip half loaded half empty around 92000 full 36000 lbs empty, driving on highways about 56 mph, I was averaging 3.85 mpg with the m920 and 4.5mpg with the m915a1(@65mph) (a little town driving and some idling). I want to find...
Tactical truck, I bet your afc\aneroid(im not sure of the proper terminology) diaphram has a hole in it. The ip is not supposed to give extra fuel until it builds up some boost. If the diaphram has a hole in it the boost will not get to the proper place.
I think the adapter is going to work ok, I havent used it yet, spent today getting 395/85r20 tires on the m915a1 and getting 16/r20s on the two big trucks. I wont be using the adapter for a week or so... Ill try and get some numbers tomorrow....
the m919 has the same pto as my m920/916 but i am driving a enclosed grain truck hyd pump with a pto drive shaft. The m920/m916 has a married pump and I think it is probably big enough to drive anything you want. Ill try and get some info off of the pump so you can spec it out...If you dont...
Ill be grinding down my m920 in the next few days, Ill get some pics posted, here is how I did my m919...
my m919 truck with the hemtt rims? I had to grind down the valve stems and I pulled the driveshaft to the rear and started the truck and ran it in front wheel drive with the wheels off...
yes and yes but when using the hydraulics and in gear you will have to be moving as the pto will not be turning under load unless you rev it up. Thats the way my m919 with the dump box works anyway. My 920 has outlets for aux hyd power but the control is behind the cab
your batteries are so dead they will not take a charge or some are shorted. Put two new batteries in(disconnect all original batteries ), making sure to hook your slave cable leads and 12v leads correctly...
they said they would not increase the capacity of the two inch kingpin from two inch cap to three point five capacity......I dont think the capscrews will get much stress
