    What is a CDR valve?

I'll sell you one for $35 shipped.

    Optical Fuel Sensor?

That's what I was thinking . That seems like the most worthless thing to put on a vehicle.

    Optical Fuel Sensor?

I have a CUCV and wasn't thinking about the lack of computer controls. I was just thinking about the similarities between the 6.5 and the 6.2. My bad.

    Optical Fuel Sensor?

So my friend has a 6.5L Suburban and he tried to run some WMO in it. The thing ran like crap and he said it was because of the optical fuel sensor that needs to be able to see through the fuel to measure it properly or something. Does the 6.2L in the CUCV have this? I searched, but couldn't...

    GL wants my Deuce back

That statement is idiotic and wrong. If the verbiage wasn't in the contract when it was signed by the purchaser, changing the contract after it is signed will not apply to the signer. THAT'S THE POINT OF A CONTRACT! If that weren't the case, any contract would be a worthless piece of paper...

    GL wants my Deuce back

Details are everything. You don't have to GIVE the gov't anything that belongs to you. They are required to give just compensation for property they are going to take. You DON'T have to TAKE their first offer. You can counter offer and get what you think you deserve for the property. It's...

Width difference between deuce and 5 ton?

That's surprising! I would have thought the 5 ton was much wider.

    RE-using motor oil

I don't understand how oil can break down over time. It's been sitting in the earth for millions of years, hasn't it?

    RE-using motor oil

It does the same thing, but you don't have any filter replacement cost (which can be expensive down to 1 micron), a pump strong enough to pump wmo through filters can be pretty expensive, and from what I've heard a centrifuge will process oil a lot faster.

m35a2 in frankfort sold for $4100 or $4200

The only one I know of that was a sprag as 6912. Was that it? 6912 also didn't have springer seats.

won 1 winch truck in frankfort

Looks like you got a really good deal to me. I stopped watching the auctions there because they went close to my limit fast. I guess I should have stuck around! Word of advice: I know a guy that went to preview that truck and he said the batteries we completely dead. Bring some spares...

m35a2 in frankfort sold for $4100 or $4200

Everything in that auction was higher than I expected. I imagine it had something to do with them deleting more than half the trucks from the auction the day before it was supposed to end.

    Deuce Fuel

I add at least a qt of motor oil/20 gal of gas. I would run e85 as long as I added a lot of motor oil to it. Trans fluid will burn in it, but I don't think it's such a good idea. Trans fluid is RED, along with offroad Diesel. You can get in a heap of trouble if a trooper dips your tank and...

    Two Deuces Down--Hydrostatic Lock?

The advice was to turn the engine with the injectors pulled. It'd be pretty hard for the engine to start with no compression or fuel. I agree that is the best course to take before removing the starter. Who cars if the starter works if the engine is full of bent connecting rods? My truck...

CUCV's in the new 'A-Team' movie.

You guys are lame. Transformers was awesome. You just have to turn off most of your brain and accept it as pure entertainment. GI Joe wasn't as good, but I still enjoyed it. Now the first modern Hulk movie a few years ago was complete trash. I can't wait for A-Team, but there is a lot of...

    Love the floor mats!

deuce recovery, i am an idiot !

Hahaha Nicely done! I really wouldn't advertise the location much or you'll get a big fat bill from the city!

This is why I do not like working in the dirt

Jack stands are perfectly safe if you position them properly. I always push on the car/truck I'm supporting as hard as I can before I get under it. I've never had one fall when I've done that. Also, you need some more substantial stands. Those cheap stands can buckle. PS. I want that...

Don't Let Your Brother-In-Law Drive Your Deuce

Don't worry about replacement rods/pistons/head if you leave it for 3 weeks with water in the cylinder/s. Just source a new engine.
