Being this side of the big pond i tow a british army sankey trailer.The narrow track has drum brakes and over run brakes.The wide track has disc brakes but hydraulic over run brakes and a tailgate.
My washer pump packed up ages ago.I just bought another 12v universal one from flea bay.Took the pipes off the pump and put them on the new one.Also used to original electrics to power it.No probs.
I forgot to add that it is sold as a CUCV 6.2 glowplug relay by a German company who deal with CUCV parts.Oh,and it does have I and S marked on the small terminals.
I bought this relay 2 years ago(just in case).It has made in USA stamped on the bottom and on the mount it has 5414 12v 8HA.There is no continuity between the any of the small terminals and the mounting plate.It's also mounted on rubber buffers as well.Is it safe to use????
Replaced the whole rear load bay floor and tail pan.Anyone know which hump the rear or the spare wheel carrier bolts to???? 2nd or 3rd hump or is it in one of the valleys.Can't see from my old floor as it's all rusted away.
Over on this side of the pond i use 6TL's.There are 2 Military vehicle firms here that have them made under their own names.Think i bought 2 last year £85 each.
So what treads do you people use in the US.What thread is...for instance the bolts that hold the rear roof onto the body.I know it's a 13mm socket head.
Well,all me parts have arrived........Complete rear load bay floor(in 3 parts),the rear body cross member(where the tailgate bolts into) and the fuel filler cover(inside).Guess what...the only part not made in Taiwan is the filler cover.That was a gen GM part.Soon be time to get the welder...
Now,looking at the plant assembly line...1 military blazer and then say 4 or 5 civi ones then a couple of military ones.Would that put the assembly costs up.I thought i might have been better to build in batches.Say 40 or 50 at a time.Here in the Uk if the military want Land Rovers they are...
