I could be wrong but my understanding the stock duece winch is 10 ton(20k) not 10K limit. That would make it a bit smaller than the warn. Also there is a huge difference in the amount of cable. 250ft vs 80ft.
When i did mine i just measured face-face and brought it to the drive line place. $128 balanced and complete. I think i saw a SS member selling the tubing on ebay. I would say yes on the balance:D
Cut off my extra frame today and remounted the rear cross member and the bumpers. Welded and bolted it on. Glad i was inside as the lake effect storm was a blowing!!
Just picked up my package from the USPS. 3 Flordia titles for M35A2 deuce's  I had them put pick-up on the title so i hope this makes it easy to get them titled as pick-ups in michigan.[thumbzup]
in the process of hooking up my brakes after the bob and have noticed the fluid is YELLOW. The dot 5 i have is purple. The truck just came from auction and i would think it has dot 5 but not sure? Any way to tell what i have in there?
Installed the axle blocks and installed the rear axle today:razz:. Next step is to get the driveshaft made longer and get the brakes lines hooked up. I am racing the weather here as snow is in the forcast. The axle blocks from ridgerunner worked great, as did $130 worth of U-bolts:shock:
Looks really nice, what did you use for paint? I am trying to decide if i want to switch to tan, seems like a lot of areas that would be hard to change.
i always use timers on my diesel trucks so the block heaters would come on (x) period of time before i was ready to leave in the morning . this way they do not have to run all night and cost $$$$
