Hey SouthJL, welcome to the site from Cape Cod, MA. Nice looking wrecker you got, mounted vice and all. Glad you got her running and off the truck. Enjoy the ride.
Welcome to the site from Cape Cod, MA. Have family all over FL. Stationed in St. Pete at one time. There is a lot of info on the site so sit back, open a TM and enjoy.
Hey Sandcobra, sounds like a good idea to keep a bypass kit in the tool box for emergencies. I just replaced my leaking original style dryer a few weeks ago. I installed a new style like you are getting from Suprman. Great guy to do business with by the way! 2 of the 3 mounting bolts will be too...
Dressed the girl up a little to head to the Cape Cod Cares 4 the Troops event. Hope everyone has a great Memorial Day and remembers why we all do this.
Thanks General. I'll talk to the other guys and see what they have planned. I think they go up 495 and pick up 93 but not sure. I still have family close to you in Somersworth where I was born. Spent some time in the Dover indoor pool any time we were in the area when I was young.
I am going to be in a convoy of 3-4 trucks coming up from Cape Cod on Friday morning. Hope to leave around 9 to miss as much traffic as possible. Should be a fun time.:driver:
Getting stuff done
Finally got around to doing stuff I have had parts for but not the time to install. Installed the new air dryer and PPV valve. The new dryer has to have new holes drilled to mount and 2 of the 3 bolts to install are too long for the mounting plate and allow the dryer to...
Welcome from Cape Cod, MA. The green/tan disease always starts small, just a trailer I promise! Then things get out of hand. Good luck with your build! Let us see the progress. :driver:
Welcome from Cape Cod, MA. Don't know if I can help but "vintage iron" on here is a MV truck service mechanic here in Falmouth. If you need a contact number let me know. He is also on Facebook as "A & H Recon". You can look him up there. Good luck and don't forget about the MV show in Weare, NH...
Welcome Freeland from Cape Cod, MA. Looks like a nice truck you have there. Lots of info and knowledgable people here to help. Enjoy the ride. :driver:
Welcome from Cape Cod, MA. Nice looking truck. Would like one some day but don't really have any place to drive it and the 5 ton is taking up all the space in the driveway. Great site with tons of info and great people. Enjoy the ride:driver:
Heard about this show recently. It is at the Mashpee High School. Looks pretty interesting and a decent organization. I plan on attending with my M923 and M105A2. Anyone in the area interested in attending? Maybe we can make our own MV section. $10 per vehicle it looks like. Hope to see others...
Added some custom homemade running lights. Wired them into the low beam wire. Added another homemade light under the dash for a courtesy light. Put the switches at the left of the steering wheel, long switch for quick flipping for the new LED light bar on the grill. Round knob for the interior...
Pretty much any boat supply stores will have a list or catalog with manufactures of these windows, West Marine is one. Just google boat windows and I am sure many choices will come up. Hope this will help someone.
Something like this would look pretty cool and probably work out well. Not sure if you need to stick to stock look. It is a boat window and they come in all kinds of sizes. Just a thought. Thought about doing this to my 5 ton hard top but the window is is good shape.
Welcome from Cape Cod, MA. Good luck on your truck search. Figure out what you want, need or can afford and don't rush the process of the hunt. It can be very rewarding. I know it was for me. I really like my M923 and drive it often. Just got back from bible study in it tonight. Enjoy the...
