M998 from Orrtown PA to Southbury CT.

EUC has cleared, ready to go this week if anybody is interested in the load. I have it listed with a broker so they will probably grab it in a day or two if there are no takers.

    Stopped by the NCSHP

Progressive has a commercial (private use) classification which is what they put all 3 of my M35s on for insurance.

I wouldn't worry about Florida.... too many AARP members down there for them to change their tax code and risk them all packing up and moving elsewhere.... I have a neighbor who lives in CT most of the year, but has a place in Florida and keeps all their vehicles registered there to avoid...

New member, new toy, general question about pick up from DRMO Ft Lewis-McChord

I looked up your truck and I think the speedo is a replacement. Note how clean it is compared to the other gauges? I would assume that the 4600 miles is since replacement. Also they state that this truck has "blow by" which indicates it is a high mileage truck. "Hydraulics are not functional"...

New member, new toy, general question about pick up from DRMO Ft Lewis-McChord

Some yards might jump one for you, but I have never seen it done. Like mentioned above some places will not even let you change a light bulb on the lot, to say anything about anything else. My understanding is that GP does not have employees on the lots like GL does, so assistance from them is...

    Issues with SF-97

I just learned that you can forget about their Ironclad guarantee on EUC items. They do not extend it until the item is approved for pickup. It is from the date of sale even if you haven't retrieved the item due to the EUC process.

1980 C-80 Chevy bucket truck from VA to IN

Perhaps it is the base for a project like the R model Mack that another member has a thread about.

1980 C-80 Chevy bucket truck from VA to IN

If you can't get anybody here who is able to move it; put it with a broker. I have used LDI in the past with good results. they can often get it shipped same day even. I have had some M35s shipped with them and the prices are often hard to beat if they can get it picked up as a backhaul. Last...

New England to Georgia or vise-versa. Transport Available.

I am headed to GA in early May with a box truck and have room for small goods if anybody needs anything picked up and delivered along the route I95 corridor. I am driving a reefer so if for some reason it needs to be kept cool that is possible too. Truck is completely empty south bound...

What have you done WITH your wrecker this week?

I didn't know I needed a wrecker until I read this thread just now.... I can't wait to tell my wife.

    Issues with SF-97

Turn around time for Govplanet EUC... (slow) Not my first EUC, but my first with govplanet. I am 8 days in and usually have them back in about a week so I emailed. The status on my account hasn't been updated. Day 8 and they haven't even sent it to Battle Creek yet. They replied that it is in...

I voted for the mule because I want a ride, but Cranetruck gets my second vote... that is definitely the coolest MV anybody here has. I had to google it.

Talk me into, or talk me out of this deuce.

Honey bees are rarely aggressive; I travel every year from GA to VT with a load of bees (about 100 K worth) and always end up with a bunch in the cab of the truck. Once I stopped for fuel and there were so many in the cab that the people at the pump opposite of me looked over and jumped back in...

Importing Caterpillar D.E.U.C.E. Deployable Universal Combat Earthmover

I wish the rovers were older and I would buy one, being late models we would be required to convert them to LHD

Talk me into, or talk me out of this deuce.

No, you can tag it under 26001 lbs and as long as you keep the gross under that and don't haul for hire you are fine. Or you can put an Ag tag on it.
