i think a guy down here in kennewick got some of those 105A2's there are three on a car lot down here and he has them for sale for 1000 a piece, and get this, he is charging an extra 200 for the bows and cover. i talked to him and he said he would probably break even at that price, yeah right
even though your other engine only ran for 30 minutes and had an external leak i would still take the head to a machine shop and have it checked for flatness, just as a precaution. besides that, the engines arnt that complicated to rebuild, just take your time and double check. good luck, hope...
if there real lose you might be able to get by with a air compressor and air nozzle, if not a pressure washer, preferably a non heated one would work, a heated or steam one might take of the yellow depending on how well its on there
welcome to the site, im on the other side but make it that way a few times a year. im new here to and am really looking forward to the rally in july to get to meet some other wa members, hope to see you there.
i would rather buy a duece from a member on here, which i am doing now, then at least you have someone that knows about the condition of the truck. i plan on getting a few others in the future and think i would just wait until a member had one close for sale. as far as cost goes, im not sure...
im sure everyone knows this but if you spraying a whole vehicle, those plastic trigger grip things that snap on any spray can are worth there weight in gold
really looking forward to going, this will be my first mv rally. my old international scout club used to do stuff like this and it was always cool. the wife is even starting to look forward to it
