Hi Bill,
Having a DoKa cab is great, plenty of secure space and I can take the family out in it when they are visiting. It is a great drive especially as it has air cushion seats with hydraulic damping, air con and a Webasto diesel fiired night heater.

Hi Chevy,
The crane sure comes in useful, at some point I am going to pull the king post and remove the stops so I can rotate 360º. It will lift a half ton at 16 feet 6 inches radius. The bed is just the right length to load my Supacat on too.

I live in a small settlement called Mellon Charles (about 40 houses) on the west coast of Scotland (Longitude 5.6345º east: Latitude 57.8600º north). The Unimog was photographed at Wastwater in the English Lake District (UK National Park)
Hi Guys,
Haven't posted much for a while mostly as I have been away from home. Anyways I have just fitted an ex mil (British army) communications box on my Unimog 1450L DoKa, at 9 feet long it should be great for supporting 1 or 2 people for sleeping, eating etc. At the moment it is an empty...
Hi Guys,
There are a few guys interested in Mogs here and not on the www.mogmsgexch.com
So thought I would post a recent recent pic of my rig here.
Trailer is great and very useful running behind the Mog

Interesting that Mike posted about the Mercedes Zetros but the thread is rapidly filling up with pics of the Actros. Nice interesting Truck as the Actros Titan is should it not be on a separate thread. Anyone coming here would reasonably expect to find information about...
As for Mike Pop's comment on Mogs and mud, the Chinese have overcome this problem as you will see Mogs there with duallies front and back. I would guess that they would then pretty well float with all that air.
Hi guys,
There is a very strong resemblance of the new Zetros to the Renault Sherpa series. I thought at first there might have been some tie in between Mercedes and Renault when looking at the Zetros and the Sherpa 5 and Sherpa 10 however when you start looking at the details they are not at...
Hi there Dave,
Welcome to the Mog world and hoping your Mog gives you lots of pleasure and not too much pain. Hope we are going to see you on the Mog mailing list from time to time - great bunch of guys there and plenty of Mog knowledge to. Be safe over there in Iraq and safe journey home.
Hi Guys,
Looking at Dave's pics of playing with Garfield in the water reminded me of a song recorded in 1958 by a very funny English comedian called Charlie Drake, it was a cover edition of Bobby Darrin's 'Splish Splash' any ways you can here it at...
Hi Jay,
There are a couple for sale here in the UK at the moment, but you'll need a deep pocket - the company were asking $38K net and you would still have to ship it, $5K shipping and agents fees springs to mind. I also know of another one (MK3) that might be for sale in 'as new' condition at...
Whooooooo hoooooooo! Garfield finally arrived and having seen some of the pics I am a bit envious even though I own 2 Supacats. Anyway congratulations DD and now the fun begins as you find out what Garfield will and won't do and perhaps what point you run out of 'bottle'. good luck and good fun...
For the benefit of the guys on ss.
The Russians seem to have an answer to a lot of stuff we use, this is their answer to the Supacat - the Vityaz MDT 2,5, fully amphibious and Cummins 180 bhp engine through a 5 speed Allison box. They are also like a wheeled version of the Hagglunds BV206.
Congratulations Dave! May Garfield bring you much happiness and welcome to the world of Supacat 6x6. Make sure you have plenty of underwear changes if you experiment with the places where they say these machines will go.
First of all public congratulations Mike on an excellent addition to the stable. As to ugly, you guys on the other side of the big pond have surely designed some of the most grotesquely ugly vehicles ever to be seen on the roads of the world. One further comment, the Austin Champ has been much...
