I'm tweaking the engraving on the top surface. Here's a "wordier" option:
Hopefully it's readable if you expand the pic...
(some of the lines look dotted, they aren't, it's just the pic)
Any comments? Too much? Not enough? Unclear? Missing anything?
Thanks

OK, so I managed to do a little more testing today...
Rustystud was correct. The relief valve was set too low.
I had it set, at first, so that it just stopped regulating fuel pressure at idle. That's not the right setting. Fuel is regulated elsewhere (at HH), and this is just a secondary...
So, I'm amenable to selling these, but I want at least one more iteration on the design first. Not sure what the price will be. I'll certainly post in classifieds when I get there. I can bound the price between $200 and $500. That's a big range, and it'll hopefully be on the lower side. But...
I finished the threaded inserts today:
And with all the bits together:
So now all that's left is the bracket to hold it to the vehicle. That'll probably have to wait until the weekend, and I'll install the works at the same time.

well, if I may say so....
I'm feeling a little smug. It went right together:
The filters are just sitting on top in the last pic.
Getting started on the threaded inserts for the filters now, while I have momentum...
If I can get the mount bracket done today, I might get testing started...
So, after some (successful) testing on rigid pipe tapping earlier this week, I got started machining today.
Before and after the first operation (top surface):
This is after the second operation. That drill bit is 8" long and I used every bit of it's length. (wishing I had thru spindle...
Hey All,
I'm working on a fuel filter setup for my deuce.
I made some hints about this in one of my threads, but I figured I could put it all in one "development" thread. That way I (and others) have an easier way of keeping track of all the useful comments.
Couple pics of the CAD design to...
I like this thread.
If and when you get a chance, could you post more pics of the crane and how it's mounted. How the truck is adapted for the crane. I've searched on this truck trying to find a build thread, but haven't been successful...

As another solution, instead of needing a plug.
I cut off the end of the insert, drilled it out, pressed in a plug so I could make the hole smaller, and used it as the port for my boost sensor.
This is the only pic I could find.
Hey Guys,
Thanks for the ping. I revised the design slightly and have started to program the CNC code.
Then I got side-tracked on the property I bought earlier this year. Building a 1/4 mile road thru woods is more difficult than I anticipated. But I just finished on Wednesday.
Now that...
Hey Rustystud, machining that part is next on my "Deuce List", but unfortunately, other areas of my life seem to have no respect for my time available to work on it...
I'm hoping to get to it in the next couple weeks. I'll definitely post progress as I go.
Here are some pics of mine. I integrated my rear winch fairlead into it too.
It's height adjustable and removable with 4 pins. When out, the brace rods stow in the brackets at the edge of the fairlead.
Here's another, non-stock option that's available from amazon that is a little cheaper...
I had a similar problem on my deuce. Everything worked fine while I was replacing all lights with LED, until the last incandescent bulbs came out...
Shipping is definitely the safer option. If you do decide to drive, I'd have shipping lined up as backup.
But I have another question.
How can you drive an untitled (therefore unlicensed and uninsured) vehicle on the road?
My understanding ( and I could be wrong) is that GP won't let you...
Good advise, thank you. I had also arrived at 2/0 cable as the choice. Peak current draw is listed at 278A by Warn. The winch has 1/0 cable (it's cut off an MRAP), but only for a few inches. I'll splice to those pigtails as the control box is fully potted on the 18000 military Warn, so the...
