    Blackout light colors

Where did you get them? My rear ones have some signs of moisure in them when they get wet, so I figure its only a matter of time.

    Tips on buying an M37?

I have also found a '52 M37 that is supposed to be "pretty solid" with just a "little through", so I haven't seen it yet. It runs and drives, and is supposed to pretty pretty original and intact, minus the top. IF it runs OK, and isn't a rust bucket - what would it be worth? I'm not sure I even...

    6.2 ticking noise?

Without hearing you truck in person its hard to say, but every 6.2 truck I've ever had has a distinct, erractic, ball bearing bouncing around in a tin can to them. Its not really diesel, but its kinda on top of that, iif that makes sense. It sounds like something is loose, like washer spinning...

It sounds like a glow plug issue.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? - Part 1

Well, I made them at work on my lunch break, kinda on the down low, if you know what I mean. If I can find another chunk of 4 1/2" scrap laying, I may be able to make some more of the centers. It requires modifying the spacer too, so it would just be something I'd have to work in when I can. I...

    just bought '86 m1008

Oh, and on 37's - this is a truck on the 37's with stock lift, and the tires are CLOSE! Too close, IMO. They need a small lift with 37's, unless you don't plan on turning or hitting bumps!;)

    1009 mystery issue

Ditto, and if the motor mounts are shot it can actually rub a hole in the fuel pump. I saw one once that was so bad that the passenger side manifold was sitting on the frame rail, and it had a rubbed a hole in the fuel pump from sitting on the crossmember.

    Nice score!

    So far!

Have you tried to clean it? A 50/50 mix of diesel and acetone works wonders on them. I've never bought a new one.

    6.5 ip with 6.2 injectors

Ditto. The 6.5 pumps flow a lot of fuel for a N/A 6.2.
