    nyone here ever cut down a dropside to fit on a bobbed deuce? I just bobbed the truck next is the bed. I have a heavy duty plasma cutter is that the best tool to cut it with? If anyone has pictures of there cut down that would be a great help. Thanks for any advice or tips. Joe

    Today I removed the rear axle and bolted in the springs. So far it's a straight forward project, no surprises.

    Picture progress Well I wasnt going to start this project for a couple days, but at 5:30 I took out the torches and blew out the bed bolts. By 6:30 it was off. Maybe by Sunday i'll have only 1 axle in it.

    395-85-20 Tires. I think they are 47" tall. I guess the truck will be a little taller with them.
