    Thanks Warthog! I've had excellent luck with my rebuilt DD so I think I will get it rebuilt. We have a shop here in town that rebuilds starters and alternators etc. The have been good to me and stand by their work so I think I will take it to them.

    When I changed the bearings in my M1028 I bought a socket at O'Reilly's. I couldn't get it to go into the slots by hand. I ended up tapping it on with a shop hammer, worked perfect!

    Well i've replaced the glow plugs, bypassed the resistor, new gp card, new st85 gp relay, NOS fuel filter housing and filter, new gp temp switch....still hard to start.     I was able to get my factory box style primed by using my MightyVac (vacuum pump) hooked up to the out side of the filter base (goes to the IP). Once I got diesel to the vacuum pump I quickly hooked the line back up and did the normal bleeding procedure. Bleed the air out of the filter housing...
