What am I looking for in a rebuild kit? 24V starter rebuild kit? Where did you get yours?

Well I've been driving it for a few days and it only takes off in 2nd from a complete stop every now and then. So whatever is causing it is random. I can't duplicate the problem, it just does it sometimes. I still may take my governor out and clean it up really good. When it happened last night...

I drove it to lunch today and it shifted perfect. I may not have got it up to full operating temp though. Only about 10 minutes each way.

Fluid level is correct. I re-used the governor from my old transmission. I'm going to start with the governor since that is easy.

I just put a rebuilt th400 transmission in my 09. It has a new vacuum modulator, new vacuum valve set correctly, and new vacuum lines. It shifts through the gears fine until it gets warm. After it's warm, it stays in 2nd gear when taking off from a stop. I can manually down shift it to 1st and...

Warthog sent me some that might work yesterday. I'll figure out which one works and copy it and make up a few sets. It may be a few days because I'm putting a new transmission in this weekend.

Update: I've gone through 2 of the Harbor Freight 12000lb winches. I'm not abusing them at all. I didn't even come close to their rate of pull. After install I tested them by just pulling about 30ft of line out and back in. Worked fine without a load. With a load both winches quit within less...

I appreciate that! I keep checking ebay for a decent price but no luck yet. I've checked the local yards but none to be had. It's not the top of my priority list since i'm swapping transmissions right now. I should wrap that up by this weekend though.

If I had a set to copy or some good dimensions I would make some!!! I just made a direct drive style starter bracket for my 09.

M1009, I looked in the TM. I just need the hold downs, or the dimensions to make them. I may resort to trail and error if I can't come across some.
