My M37 had been converted to 12volt long before I got it. It functions ok, BUT...
The alternator dosent appear to be in exactly the right spot...resulting in MUCH squeeling from the belt whenever I step on the gas pedal. The fan belt is tightened all the way, and I can still move it by hand...
At work we have 3 5-tons for fire-road construction. I believe them to all be M817s, but one of them looks different....anyhow
Here they are per request, hard at work re-building a washed out mountain road! Also Note that the dresser front-end loader is an EX-Air Force machine!
Found this little trailer for sale on the side of Rt. 63 in Levrett, Massachusetts.
