Wasn't a bad show but seemed to be alot of drama. All that work on the chevy and the interior goes up spontainiously in flames from some torch work. Then I had to cringe when the sprayed the 4BT with starting fluid because it hadn't been primed with fuel yet. Another point was how the owner...
That plow would look awesome on there and probably work just as well. Mine is working great, at keeping the white stuff away. I am finally prepared for the snow and it was 73 degrees on Christmas. Go figure. How wide is that plow? I know the military kit from Arrowhead uses a 9' fisher.
Thanks for all the compliments. I can't wait to use it this year. The plow that goes with it is an 8' fisher that has been extended to 10'-6". I had one heck of a fight last year with a pick up trying to push all the snow on a mile long drive way. My luck is this year we will have hardly any...
The mount is fully welded now and the plow hooks up great. Now it is time to get all the wiring done and auxillary lights on the truck. I hope this truck and plow will help me keep up with the snow on my 1 mile long driveway. More pictures to come once it is complete.
Plow frame tacked up
Here is the plow mount I put together over the past few days on my LMTV. It is for a Fisher Minute Mount II. It is all just tacked together right now. Hopefully by the end of this coming weekend I will have it full welded and the dozen or so holes drilled to hold all...
Well I have started to make a push plate for my M1078. Last night I started mocking it up with foam poster board. I hope by the end of this weekend I will be done with mock up and on to fabrication next week. I will post pics on Monday of the mocked up frame. I have a set of fisher push...
Where are you finding the material list for making the fisher frame plate. If someone has it saved could you please email it to me. I am in the process of putting a fisher plow on my M1078. I was going to make my own mounts just from their install pictures but if someone has dimensions that...
I am looking for one of those boxes that Suprman posted or the one Derrickl112 posted. Either one would do. If anyone has one they are willing to sell or a lead on one that would be great.
I may have a shipment lined up with JR Martin. If I can get another truck that is needing to come up north it would almost cut the shipping in half for each parties. If anyone has a vehicle that needs to come north of North Carolina that would be near the 95 corridor please PM me and we can...
From your second post it seems like you are questioning about adding it direct to the trans. If i read that wrong I appologize and don't mean any offense by it. What NDT is saying is there are air pressure lines going to the trans for the proper operation. the air tool oil needs to be added...
I need a M1078 shipped from North Carolina to New Jersey. I just won the truck yesterday on a GP auction. I would be willing to spilt the cost with someone if they needed to have something shipped north as well. Any help from recomending a shipper to being able to ship would be appreciated...
I know that typically high copper and iron in trans fluid means clutch wear. What I am tryin to figure out is what a "normal" or high level is. From all the oil analysis websites I have looked at a one time sample and test such as GP does is useless. It seems that what you look for is any...
What should you look for when looking at one of these samples? I have notice that copper and iron levels are higher than other levels in the transmission. Does anyone know what is an acceptable/ average level? Do these readings say the trans is bad?
