What is the longest distance away from home that you have driven your HMMWV? I have not gone beyond a 50 mile radius; so, I would not do it in mine until I have done reasonably longer trips. McReddy

I prefer to tap into the horn wire. In Black out mode, horn will not work and so will anything drawing power from it. This is what I wanted and I went this route. McReddy

I did mine without removing the shifter. There is small bump in the rubber boots, close to the neutral safety switch. The reverse light switch goes there. Pushing the reverse light switch against that bump and turning it a few times again the hole in the shifter made a perfect round hole in the...

Check for loose wiring in that area. Post some pictures. McReddy
