Crawl under it and look for the data plate on transmission and transfer case. If you don't know much about them I'd take someone with you who does, will save you a headache later. also weak #8s were early blocks so check to see if it's early or late

The tires are Goodyear G275 MSAs, pretty sure they are 22" rims on the hmmwv because the tires don't look very tall compared to the MSA's that I have.

Maybe try using a spot weld cutter to remove the rhino liner around the rivet?
