I know some guys use the M101A1 trailer beds for their bobbed deuces. I am hoping someone has one of these trailer hubs left over after you pulled the bed. I need one as soon as I can get it. Let me know what you want for it.
Here is the link...
As much as I have been under the hood lately of this truck I cannot believe I missed the name scratched in the oil fill cap. I think it is kind of cool; it makes you wonder who all has been under the hood over the past few decades.
If this already exists I apologize for not locating it. I am searching for a hub and I am now realizing that locating salvage yards that deal with this sort of stuff is tough. I do not look for many parts and have had no need to seek out salvage yards that deal in military parts. So I figured...
I know a lot of thee trailers are getting cut up and used as beds on bobbed deuces. So I am hoping someone has the hubs lefts over. I only need on side and if the bearings are still good I will take them as well. I also need the hub nuts and washers from both sides. I am trying to get this done...
My wife has been after me for a while to knock down this dead tree. So, I gave her the keys so she could have the fun. Now we have a big hole to fill in, but it was fun watching her have fun.
This is yet another reason to hate this tire configuration. Hooking that tow bar up alone was challenging enough, but keeping the tries straight on that deuce was more than I could tolerate. I am already sick of having deuces that have to be pulled started. So moving them around like this annoys...
I think these trucks look so much better dualled out. I just flipped the hubs and installed stock tires on this deuce. The tan one is a comparison. Before and after.
One of my deuces has a throttle issue that I think will be easy to repair. I just need a better understanding of what I am up against. The truck runs and starts fine and will move when you let out on the clutch. But there is no response when you step on the throttle. If I push down on the...
The ground is really soft right now from recent rain. I am sure that was a contributing factor to my donor truck falling off the jack stands. That and not having the proper equipment to take on such a task. I was trying to get the truck jacked up far enough so I could pull the front end out...
The brakes on one of my deuces were not working when I bought it. After a brief search I found a broken brake hose that lead to the rear axle. I replaced it with a brand new hose and bled the brakes. The firmness of the brake pedal went from nonexistent to very firm. As a matter of fact, it is...
This Jeep is right around the corner from my house. As much as I would love to get my paws on it I am not in a position to do so right now. So, I am putting this out there to see if someone else wants to go after it. Let me say this, I know nothing of it. The house it is sitting in front of...
She sent me these from her lessons session on Saturday. All I can say is Troy has way more patients than I do. Let me know if you require a new clutch now.
I am sure some one has thought of this before but I could not locate any helpful information on the subject. I am planning a M211 build with some modern parts. And a whole lot of useful mods.

I am assuming this is the correct forum for this. Considering I have never seen a truck like this I guessed. It looks old enough to be here in the WWII section. Anyhoo, what is it and what other variants were there? I am kind of getting interested in the International built military vehicles...
My wife and I are trying to get me home for an R&R some time with in the next two years. (Seems that way) Anyhoo, when I go home on R&R we always hit the trials with our ATV’s. This time I want to take a deuce and I thought it would be cool to invite other SS members as well. So, it might be a...
I have some plans for when I get home and some of those plans include builds involving the installation of multifuel engines. Where a good place to get them is and what kind of prices am I looking at. I really do not care if they run or not. As long as there is no rod hanging out of the block...
I want to get a M49A2C but the prices on GL are too high and from what I can tell dealers are smoking something good. The costs are so far apart I cannot find an average price. What is a reasonable price for one and where is a good place to look? Also, didn’t the M211 come in a similar...
Some one brought something up to me I had not thought of before. RV’s have a lot of the parts I am looking for. Is there a place in the South East that sells them?
Oh yeah, yes this is MV related. If you stay tuned and I locate the parts I seek you will see how.
What are the common issues that M915 have and how are the issues permanently resolved? Also, what king or spare parts are good to have around for this truck?
