Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't the Army experimented with putting the auto tranny from the M135/211 trucks in the M35? If so, was this a direct bolt-up? I am toying around the idea of doing this modification if it doesn't involve making a special adapter to the multifuel motor. Wouldn't...
I notice just about all the new M series vehicles have electric type wiper motors instead of air. Has anyone converted or found a military looking electric replacement for their deuce windshield wiper motors? Pictures of s setup would be great if someone has already done the conversion.
For those who were inquiring: This is what I have.

Some inquired so here is some pictures. Enjoy.
Needless to say, room at the house is limited. My neighbors just LOVE me. Yea right. I had the police and code enforcement called on me so many times they just camp out in front of the house. I win every time though.
The M35A2 w/w is the one...

OK,
Here's the deal. I have a hydraulic leak (bad, 1 week and the whole reservoir is drained) coming somewhere from the center of the turn table. When I look under the truck everyting is wet or damp with hydraulic oil so it is hard to pin point anyone spot. I want to say that it looks like...
I saw the TM on the 4 color camo pattern for a van style body deuce, however, is there a specific pattern just for the cargo version? Something about those colors and that pattern-- its the only way to paint camo! Any pointing in the right direction would be appreciated.
Gents,
Took a trip to the GL site at Pineville, LA. If you are thinking about bidding on these trucks in the next auction, BEWARE. All of the trucks listed with the exception of the dump truck where underwater. All had water in the crankcases, severe electrical corrosion, and rust blistering...
I've bled brakes before, but is there a proper way to bleed brakes for the M35. I am ashamed I don't know this and the TMs that I have looked in does not give any details. Does the brake booster need to be bled or does it even get bled? I know this must of been covered before so I apologize...
Gents,
In case anyone is bidding on the 5 ton in Pineville, LA on GL, It was completey underwater for a least a week during Hurricane Katrina. GL was been doing a piss poor job at letting bidders know of submerged water damage trucks from the hurricane. You can even see the water level...
I dont know if this subject has already been discussed, but does anyone know of a kit or conversion package to change an 800 series 5 ton to air brakes? Is it simple or not worth it? I tried several times to buy wrecked 900 series trucks to just swap them, but even they go pretty expensive.
