Attention!! Please use caution when driving vehicles home from auction!

Back when I bought my deuce, I downloaded many tech manuals, read different websites (including one that a ss member has describing the ins and outs of owning deuce), talked to what few owners I could find around me, and did a fair amount to homework before purchasing. Thought about going...

    GL & HUMMVe

th I would tend to agree with this comment. Our three man police department here acquired 2 hmmwv's through the drmo program. Considering the chief is a friend of mine, I tried to convince him that this wasn't one of his better ideas. Let's put it this way, all of the things we have posted on...

    M35A2 Deuce fix it

I have air operated wipers on my deuce. Not thrilled with them. The only thing consistent about them is how inconsistent they are in operation. So needless to say, I tend to operate the truck on days when it doesn't have any rain in the forecast.

    Looking to get a Deuce

No matter what the truck costs, it is still cheaper than a wife. Plus, even though it takes a fair amount of wrench turning, it still takes less maintenance than a female.

low sulphur content diesel fuel question

Back in the day when I was in the farm supply business( prior to 2005), our premium fuel would normally have an additive package that was blended at the fuel terminal. This was back in the day when we were transitioning between high sulfur and low sulfur. Farmland industries (now Cenex Harvest...

MDK-2M trench-digging vehicle Located in Poland

Some interesting equipment. I'm impressed with how far those large trenchers throw the soil. Reminds me of the railroad rotary snowplows.

    Mixing WMO & WVO, recommendations?

I have been running a blend of products too. I found that mixing the filtered waste engine oil with diesel first, then blending filtered wvo provides decent results and keeps the turds and crud to a minimum. Then I'll run a flush of either biodiesel or straight diesel. Really got to watch the...

    M35a2 oils

Nothing wrong with Shell, Chevron, or Mobil. I think this discussion is like debating the differences between Folgers and Maxwellhouse. My personal favorite brands of lubricants are John Deere and Cenex. Mainly because of the availability. One thing to keep in mind is that today's oils meet...

What makes a multifuel a multifuel?

I enjoyed reading the two main threads that Recovery posted. Got some chuckles out the posts, but overall it was informative. When someone who asks me what makes a multifuel different than a regular diesel engine (to those who are just curious and don't want detailed data), I simply reply it...

    Newbie from SE Iowa

Hello, I'm a newbie from a small town in Iowa called Wapello. Located in SE Iowa almost halfway between Burlington and Muscatine. Proud owner of a 1966 M35A2 that I purchased in May of 2012. Just recently purchased an M149 water buffalo in Nebraska. Kind of stumbled into the military...

Fuel leak on line coming out of passenger side filter.

Thanks for the information John. At first it didn't look like anything was causing the leak, but there was a hairline crack where the flare met the line to run straight. Cut it off, re-flared it and hooked it back up. So far no leaks. Now onto the next project of putting the radiator back in.

Fuel leak on line coming out of passenger side filter.

Good evening. This is my first post in this forum. So go easy. Right now I have my radiator out of the truck for a repair on the bottom seam. Anyway, since it was out I decided to fix the fuel leak that was coming out of the filter on the passenger side of the truck. Since I'm running a...
