Its a possibility. My guess is a cat was sleeping near the engine to keep warm and didn't wake up soon enough.

The heater doesn't blow on my M1009. I pulled and confirmed that the fuse is good and gave the fuse box a good cleaning with contact cleaner.I put power directly to the blower and it works. My guess is its the switch, but its just a guess. I'd check the TM, but it appears they're down right now...

If you were in a thread already you can't start a new one. Maybe that's what your problem was.

If you open your hood the "new thread button" should be located behind the battery. On the M1008 and 9 it's on the firewall between the heater blower motor and the resistor. It just depends on what you drive.

thank you for the referral warthog. I recently bought my second 1009 and want to make it my trail rig. My 1st 1009 is my daily driver so I want to do something different with the ''new'' one. I guess most people here are more interested with preservation instead of modification.

I recently acquired some 38s for my M1009. I need 18'' rims. Any suggestions? Also, how much cutting or lift will be needed? Any help will....well, help. Thanks a lot.
