found this tag today inside of my glovebox,, good to know it was rustproofed in 87 when it was new. probably why the truck has not one spot of rust on the whole thing. is there any way to find out where this truck came from or any info? I know its probably a longshot!?

Yes the previous owner put in some aftermarket gauges from oreilly's the temp gauge was nice, the truck never ran over 180 on the way home. I've heard good things about Por-15, I just want to make shure I do a good Job and make 100% shure I will have a clean tank from now on.

I have heard you can also use brass BB's in the tank roll it down a hill, the brass isn't as harsh. haven't tried that yet. I bought muratic acid at my local lowe's, came in a gallon jug and they still sell it no questions asked. after I bought this mean green degreaser, I found the zep purple...

I took the fuel pump out today, looked surprisingly better than I thought. then took the fuel tank out and inspecting the bottom I found caked WMO sludge/rust particles/dirt....evrerywhere. I know the tank is baffeled so im wondering what the rear portion looks like since I cant see the bottom...
