It depends on....for temporarily use a small electric winch and ramps are ok, not optimal but ok. A pickup crane would be better.

Try to seal every hole in the firewall, steering column etc. The hot air come trough every little hole. It's like driving in a convection oven...
I did the same :)
I've used contact washers https://www.google.com/search?q=contact+washer&client=firefox-b&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwi_8tH10djcAhWMCpoKHef6D08Q_AUICigB&biw=1920&bih=923

And for anybody who looks for a HF54...there are different output shafts availible. You need a full spline AND full grove.
Don't ask how i find out.

if i remember correct, i got my parts from them. I guess they can't supply the flange, but pretty shure the pump and fine rebuild HF54.
Take care, there are 4? differend pumps with the same housing.

I use this great torque spec sheet to find the right TMs :-)
Nothing on my deuce :-( but i had to bend new transmission lines on a friends Mustang... 5/16" tube. And the problem even with a bender are kinks.
So i had an idea...a 6mm wire rope inside. Result: Close to perfect bends.
Probably not a new trick for everybody, but maybe helpfull?
