Bought the hitch from eBay. It had the 4 bolt where the pintle hitch goes, but not the center hole. Had it drilled to fit the pintle (way to hard for my little drill bit and hand drill) and drilled the inside cross supports to bolt the angle supports. Should be as strong as the bumper.
Did not have enough room and wanted the bigger fan and less heat to fight to cool. I have a custom aluminum radiator and a custom aluminum transmission, oil and power steering cooler over the radiator not much play left there.
Since I bought it custom made I contacted the man who built it and he sent me these picts to post. I know he has made many of them. It frees up the bed and the angle matches a slant back. He should be responding to this thread soon if there are any more questions.
I have the oil kit on my M109a3 andd yes i love it. Adding oil and secondary kit to my new LDS-465 engine that will be in my M52a2 along with a new wiring harness. The take out engine will get a new turbo, head gasket and new fuel lines and then go into my M109a3. All that work will be much...
Change of plans. iI am going to put the new LDS-465 in my M52a2 along with a new wiring harness. tThe LDS_465 takeout will get a new head gasket, turbo and new fuel lines like the new LDS-465. I am trying to attach the pictures of the work from this weekend.
OK, today they uploaded. Here are...
Are you talking about a larger generator on the engine or a military 24 volt diesel generator? I am adding a 12volt seperate altenator to charge the camper part.
I just did not understand why a LDT bell housing would need an adapter. I would think both multi fuel bell housings whould have the same bolt pattern even though they are shapped different. I thought it was the same block. For now i will be using the transmission that is conectted to an LDT now.
My M52a2 has a LDS, but having both in a truck and knowing how to swap them are two different things. You guys are awesome with the help and pictures. The LDT bell housing and the LDS use different adapters, that is something i really needed to know.
i just bought and LDS to put in my M109a3 and take out the LDT non-turbo. It won't ship until next week so i have not even looked at it, but, i have been looking for all the parts to swap them out.
