I've named all my trucks.
My 1991 HMMWV is named Stormy.
Once bought a 2500 Dodge Ram at state auction to haul stuff I was buying at GL in Oceanside. Coming up the grapevine hill I told my wife let's name her Rhonda. Clicked on the radio and "Help my Rhonda" came on. She's been a great truck.
Opened the top panel to find a coaxwitch antenna switch. Antenna ports will come in handy for an external cell antenna.
Bottom panel is the 3 phase input with 60 amp service.
I'll likely park this too far from my generator to run 3 phase so DC inverter to 120vac is my first planned...
Thanks, designation undetermined but most likely utilizing as a remote relay station (I live off grid) for my cell service, wifi, etc. Good to know there is a bracket, it's great on the HMMWV, except for ECU location to drivers seat.
A look behind the panels shows promise, will be fairly easy...
Posting photos and progress on my recently acquired S250 shelter.
Here she is about to get loaded on my vehicle. I decided to load door forward so I could quickly transfer shelter from my pickup to humvee.
Smooth ride home, barely noticed the load, but my gas gauge did.
Took about 15...
I got one cable with purchase and reverse engineered it to make others, thanks to nsn numbers (see photo) and parts on ebay. You likely could convert to a standard locking 208v plug/socket but I found making the plugs wasn't difficult. Parts can be found on ebay or maybe here.
Hope I'm posting this to the correct location.
I'm seeking a TM for the Nordic Air 18,000 BTUH 3 Phase ECU.
2008 model using R-22 refrigerant.
NSN: 4120-01-526-1588
Tech Manual: 567-00001
Found a few pdf files when searching online but nothing in the way of maintenance.
Btw, I'm impressed...
Picked up an "unkown" vehicle part from GL to fabricate a front barrier, so I can push stuff around on the ranch. With a couple of mods I should be able to use the brush guard brackets and switch out as needed.
Big DMRO lot, which can be seen from the 40fwy. If I'm making a trip that way, I check whats up for auction first, no point in driving past with an empty pickup truck.
Continued cleaning out the grime, removed the batteries and cleaned the battery box, will have to replace fairly soon.
Can someone tell me if a fire extinguisher goes here (see above photo)? Thought it would also be good location for a spare 24V NATO jumper cable.
Batteries were Exide 6TMF...
If I do put an inverter I'll insulate the box first. The floor wasn't draining properly (looks like vehicle struck object on underside) so repairing that first.
Got her first washing since coming home. Cleaned out the mud and debris under back seats and prepped for modifications. Thinking about a power inverter mounted under rear seat, looked like there were electronics in there previously.
