I could be mistaken; HOWEVER It appears that the MC which you took OUT of your M37, is the MC for a civilian power wagon...I'm sure they are all the same thing minus the angled top; we have 2 WM300s at work, and the MC in them is mounted at a weird angle in front of the fire wall (inconvenient...
I like the painting inside of the lights silver that was mentioned here, good idea!
We just put a bunch more DOT reflective tape on the sides of our tanker at work (deuce and a half), so many idots out there driving nowadays...
I always use my flashers when going up long hills, and try and...
UPDATE: I got a new set of fenders to throw on cause the old ones were majorly rotted out...these "new" ones were really strong, except for a small amount of rot around the lower edges (pictures 1 & 2).
My buddy Rob (mrcucv here on SS) stripped them down to bare metal (8 coats of paints were...
Same here!
When it comes to my brake components, I'd rather not take any chances of having to do it again in the future...I just replace the cylinders. Remember if you hone them out and re-build them too many times they won't be operating efficiently/correctly
But I am preaching to the...

Just did some work to one at work just like this with the jack, except it had 2 3kw generators mounted in the bed.
I agree, that lower corner gets me every time as well!
Those apparently are really hardtops for a WC, they were retro fitted to work by the military on the M37s. I plan on taking off mine and getting a soft top in the future
So UPDATE: Turns out the original engine block was cracked...
Nice looking truck!
It looks like its in good shape. I'm currently doing a not really restoration...I look at it as more of a re-furb. Getting the truck running/driving/stopping good, maybe that'd be up your alley! Then you could take one small piece at a time
If the e-brake doesn't work...
Stopped by the shop today. I had mentioned in another thread that I had acquired a new 230 to put into the truck; Old one has 3 bad pistons, every valve is pitted and doesn't seat correctly, cracked exhaust manifold, and bad rings.
Figured this would be a cheaper way around things! Turns out...
