Well I guess its a face only a father could love, speaking on why no one else seems interested. Gavan, I would have thought that 4bt would have been easy but guess not. Looking good man.
DrJekl hasn't chimed in in-a-wile but he ended up with Rebelpride's project. At some point I want...
Here in Florida just the humidity reduction would be key. I'm sure for the tin foil crowd you could market it as a way to make drinking water from thin air, of course local conditions apply. lol
Its really hard to back the holes!! Copper is used alot for the same reasons it will not flow and bond with the iron or any other metal. That is why almost all welding claps have copper shoes.
I'm happy to see people actually willing to help. :grd:
I think mainly the expectation is to have cool not even cold air blowing directly on you. I don't think even an oversized unit would be able to cool a deuce cab.
on the news racks this month is a 4x4 rag that was devoted to streetable tires. I will look for it around the house when I get a chance.
I got to the house and looked up the mag. Its 4x4Garage Mega-Mud Tire Comparo!
The review they did listed the Hankook Dynapro MT as the best then Good year...
I can't quite tell but I would recommend using a flap style disk on your grinding. Welcome to welding 101, I will not related some of the stories about splater and flash burns in mixed company. Lets just say yours look painful enough, remember to button up your shirt, long sleves, and...
I think they come through every two months or so....related to auctions maybe? Get the FNG questions out of the way it would be about time for Carnac to make another visit and stir the pot. The subtle rhythms that is MV life on SS.

simply put Ultra has flash range of 100 to 130 degree F and Low has 130-190 degrees F
I find vapor listed as static ignition for...
Nail trick is good advise. Not sure I would use the wood chisel though. Prepping a larger area of paint (stripping it down to metal will save on some slag. Looks like you had good feed speed. Your temp looked pretty good too. Da*n nice job for a first attempt. Weldable primer is your friend...
Irony: as I read Cheri's words my play list cycled through "God only knows why" by Kid Rock.
sadness finds me today.
Maybe James can drive the MV version of the Jolly Rodger in heaven. Smile as I think of a sailor in a big green truck picking me up at the Pearly Gates.
I was thinking the gang way set up across the tailgate. You could winch it up and go for a parade. I am always being told I "over engineer things" guess it comes with being an engineer.
That is identical to what was fabricated for the rig floor. Good luck on seeking out the real part. I once saw a four door ford that had a leer jet door ladder for the rear door. Also what comes to mind is a gangway type ladder.
not that this is the one you are looking for, but just an alternative.
Anderson Ladder, Inc. | Function + Safety | 520.249.6589
manufactured something similar for a drilling rig floor. Used one of the old shop roll-able stairs and cut it up with a couple of ears to lock in the side rails.
I would say most of my work with my jeep is keeping the wife/CFO happy. It is good to have a check over me keeps me from going out and buying a really old, rare, and random truck! I hope you enjoy the skinned knuckles that come along with this hobby. I sure do.
I would say if you can find someone who is willing to lend a big hand to you with the brakes and do them yourself. The little tricks to free up rusty metal are all you really need help with. The rest the TM will cover. You have to start somewhere. That said if you don't have the facilities...
Small fender washers or punch outs from electrical boxes are my go to for filling holes in firewalls. I am not sure those are riv-nuts but if they are they will be identical to the antenna mount hardware.
I keep a small piece of flat stock around that I tack the punch out to and set in the...

Guess the searches you have tried were different. The above thread I think covered at least the feasible means of doing this. Screen shot of vid but shows the singled rear axle. Have a nice day...
