yup, works great for me, it is not quiet, but it did take a lot of the bark out of it, my wifey says it is much quieter
so does the previous owner, i think he sad 20% quieter is what it sounded like to him
i use a 5/8 gear wrench for the front bolt/nut
i get it from under the vehicle and it is a snap, less than 10 seconds and it is off
the hardest part is not sliding the bolt out of the hole while slipping the lower front alternator tab into place
i just tried slipping a couple of mine, not working.....
also, on one of the vids a guy took one apart and mentioned the smooth pins, top and bottom, mine all have serrations, maybee i have the later models, the serrations make it a pain to get the barrels apart after removing them from the...
I get em for 15 each new....... thats for the gold colored 5200 series with a chain, not counting shipping, the 5260 is a shiny silver finish and can be had locally for 26 dollars, no chain
keyed alike is an extra buck or so per lock

slipping will work on some locks, but not all, some have double ball hasps, and the balls are locked into place with another part which rotates them into the hasp groove
mine was a nice straight pull, when it broke i found out where the rope was purchased, it was clearly marked at the place of purchase to have a 4000 lb rating
