Asking for a friend who is building a model. Did the cargo M54s that served in Nam have head boards? That would be at the front of the bed, behind the cab. I have looked at some photos and can see the slat-board sides but there isn't enough detail to see if it's the same at the front. I'm...
While I appreciate Driver's experience, I have to add that certain states that he has not been to (including CA, CT, MA, NY and NJ) may have different opinions. If you look at some of the folks selling replica guns, you will see there are some states that they will not sell to, there is a...

I'd like to find the guy who bought the scout car. I've got a 2000 Impala, all original, with 200K miles that is half way to being an antique. If he'd pay 25K for the scout car, I'm sure he'd give me plenty for my car!
I ran into a guy at a MV show a couple of years ago who had restored a Deuce (Utica Bend, 1966). He had documentation that showed it had been to Vietnam and then to Germany and there was a General (name unknown) who seemed very interested in it. Point being, it was in Nam and returned.

Heard on the news this morning that Charles Kaman, founder of Kaman Aircraft, died yesterday at the age of 91. He developed a helicopter that did not need a tail rotor to fly by using two counter-rotating main blades.
Thanks for all the info and referrals. I should have mentioned that the UH-1B is outfitted as a gunship with 7-rocket pods and mini-guns. I'll follow up with the 369 group.
Does anyone have a lead to where I could find a diagram or photo showing the button functions on Huey cyclic? I can get a photo of the one in the NEAM's UH-1B without too much trouble, but I'd like to know what the hat switch and other buttons do.
Thanks in advance!
I saw that during my search but couldn't verify that it was available in the USA. I did find there were several products that would do the same thing. I agree that everyone should have this and it would be even more important for those mixing their own fuel.
Found this product which should do the trick. I am not endorsing the product or vendor, just supplying info that might be helpful.
Gasoila Regular Water Finding Paste 2.5 oz. Tube (WT25)
It certainly won't break the bank.
You should be able to test for the presence of water yourself. They make a paste that you put on a stick and it'll change color if water is present. Gas stations use it all the time. You might be able to borrow a blob from a friendly station employee or find out where they get the stuff...
Ya want more snow? Come up to CT, we got 24"(+) of the stuff and according to the forecast (cold!) it ain't going anywhere anytime soon. Possibly more coming early-mid next week. Yech.....
